Education

• Distributes information that enhances the knowledge base of physicians who have responsibility for the care of spinal cord injured.
• Maintains a system of providing and documenting continuing medical education (CME) credits for physicians attending the annual conference.
• Coordinates CME activities with the Program Committee.
• Identifies resources available on spinal cord impairment for use by clinicians and researchers.
• Works with other committees and the membership to disseminate information regarding educational events, such as courses, conferences, recently published material, or other resources that are available to the membership.
• Surveys the membership and communicate information regarding educational resources for specific topic areas, such as graduate education.
• Defines the educational needs of physicians working in the field of spinal cord impairment.
• Develops materials for patient and family education.
